Touchstone Projects supports Family Care Uganda and its project of providing education and a self-sustaining way of life to war-devastated people in Uganda.
As a result of the atrocious wars in which “child soldiers” have featured heavily, there are literally millions of orphans in Uganda, especially in the north of the country where Family Care Uganda focusses its efforts. To address the dire needs of this young and psychologically/economically/physically damaged population, FCU is establishing the “Family Care Village Project”, a project that has the potential to become a model that could be adapted and copied throughout the north.
